Company
History
Established
in 1920 on the East Side of Indianapolis
focusing on residential and small commercial electrical
service.
Wendell Young purchased the company in 1960, as the
originator
was to retire. The company still located on the East Side
of Indianapolis
continued serving residential and commercial customers.
The company
was incorporated in 1971 with Wendell Young as President
and family
members which included his wife, son and daughter as the
corporate
officers. In 1991, the company joined the service
oriented team known
today as "DIAL ONE" and became known as DIAL
ONE Woods Electric, Inc.
The company today, is headed up by Michael G. Young,
Vice President/General Manager and continues to operate
the company
with the same family values.

Areas
Our
service areas include all of Marion County and
surrounding counties
including Hamilton, Johnson, Hancock, and Shelby.
Service
Specialties
Our main
focus is still to serve residential and small commercial
clients primarily
acting in a "service" oriented capacity. We
offer "Emergency" service for after 5pm
and on weekends/holidays. Specialties include repair,
rewiring, modernizations
and new installations of electrical circuitry and components, electric baseboard and
ceiling radiant heating systems. We also provide and
install central vacuum systems
and are authorized dealers for the "Dish Network" digital satellite television systems.
Subcontracted
Services
When
required, we subcontract professional roofing contractors
for installations of
roof attic fans, and professional patch plastering when
notching/channeling
of wall or ceiling surfaces are necessary.
Free
Estimates
We
provide free estimates for new installations, however,
troubleshooting or
diagnostic testing procedures are handled as time and
material repair services.

Offered
We offer the following discounts to our customers: Senior
Savings,
DIAL ONE Coupons, Unified Neighbor Coupons plus other
advertised coupons.
Unfortunately we must limit usage to only one coupon per
project.
Payment
Methods
Customers may pay for services by the following: cash,
check, MasterCard, Visa,
Discover Card and we offer "90 days same as
cash" with financing approval.
Credentials
We carry
a "masters/unlimited" electrical license where
required for all
servicing areas. We carry full bonding and insurance
required by law and licensing
agencies. We will provide certificates of insurance upon
request. We are
members in good standing with the Better Business Bureau, the
Electric League of Indiana, and The Indiana Construction
Industry.
